  • What is GoConsult?
    GoConsult is a unique patent pending app which is essentially a virtual phone within a smartphone designed primarily to improve professional consultation and communication between Healthcare Providers and their clientele.The GoConsult platform provides a mode of communication between your personal physician, medical specialist or healthcare provider and you when one or both parties is away from the consultation venue. The GoConsult platform provides accessibility to his/her healthcare consultant’s availability and provides a SECURE direct line to the doctor via Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP), video consultation, text and voice messaging services. The GoConsult Platform’s chief goals are to:-

    Costs incurred for travel, parking can be eliminated with the use of the GoConsult Platform.
  1. Save Time
    Most Follow up consultations / Discussion of Test Results can be discussed via our mobile platform, without the need to visit the consultation venue.
  1. Improve accessibility
    Information pertaining to your doctor / healthcare provider’s availability, consultation hours are readily available through the GoConsult Platform. If your doctor is unavailable, we provide a SECURE text and voice messaging service. As such, your healthcare consultant will be able to view / listen to your message and respond once he/she is free to do so. Simple queries such as confirmation of appointment times, clarification of medication dosage can be done in this manner, hassle free.


  • Where do I download the GoConsult app?
    The GoConsult app is available for download on Apple’s App Store (for iOS users) and on the Google Play Store (for Android users)


  • What do I require to use GoConsult?
  1. A smartphone / tablet. GoConsult and GoConsultPro-Health are available on both, Android and iOS platforms.
  2. Stable Internet Connection. WiFi /4G / 3G
  3. GoConsult (for Healthcare Consumers) registered account. GoConsult and GoConsultPro-Health are available for download on Google Play Store and Apple Apps Store.


  • How do I register my GoConsult account?


  1. Download the app. GoConsult and GoConsultPro-Health are available for download on Google Play Store and Apple Apps Store.
  2. Create an account. Fill in your login information and personal details
  3. Add a photo to your profile (optional)
  4. Read and accept the Terms of Use
  5. Purchase credits. Healthcare consumers will need to purchase credit to support VOIP consultations, text and voice messaging services on the GoConsult platform. Consultation charges are adjusted at the sole discretion of the healthcare provider. Purchase of credit can be made online through the platform payment system.
  6. A unique 7 or 8 digit number is assigned to your account. The 7-digit number is to be used as a telephone number would. Your healthcare consultant will be able to reach you by calling this number via the GoConsult platform.
  7. You are now ready to use the GoConsult Platform.


  1. Credit Purchase and Payments
  • How do I purchase credit?
  1. Go to settings
  2. Hit the PURCHASE CREDITS icon
  3. Select the amount you wish to purchase (USD 20/50/100/200), then pay via BrainTree. Payment can be made via Credit Card or PayPal


  • How long is my purchased credit valid for?
    There is no expiry for credits purchased. However, if your GoConsult account is inactive for a period of 1 year, your account will be deactivated and all unused credit will be returned via your chosen payment channel.


  1. Video Consultation
  • How do I start a Video Call with my Consultant?
  1. Go to ‘Keypad’
  2. Enter your Consultants’ GoConsult number and hit the call button at the bottom.
    Hit the ‘Mark as Favourite’ icon for easier access to your consultant through the favourites tab for future consultations
  3. Your Consultant’s GoConsult profile should pop up. Hit the video icon to start a secure video call with your consultant


  • How much does a Video Consultation cost?
    All rates (per 10 minutes) are adjusted solely at the discretion of the Consultant. The rates are clearly stated on your Consultant’s GoConsult Profile Page and before any video call is made.

  • How do I send a text message?
  1. Go to ‘Chat’
  2. Hit the ‘+’ icon on the top right of your screen
  3. Enter your Consultant’s GoConsult number and hit the ‘ADD CHATROOM’ button


  • How much does text messaging cost?
    Each text message sent over our secure, HIPAA Compliant, GoConsult Platform costs USD 0.50.

  • How do I edit my personal details?
  1. Go to ‘Settings’
  2. Hit the Edit Icon on the top right of your screen
  3. Once you have made the necessary changes, hit the ‘SAVE’ button on the top right of your screen.
